Gesshinin Temple was established by Gensho Kyurin in 1616.

It is on the west side of Kodaiji Temple in Higashiyama.The main gate is on Nenenomichi Street and once you enter the gate you will see an Inari shrine on the right hand side, the building entrance is on the left hand side. There is a lawn garden with a pond and a beautiful view behind the white wall.
